Three Championship clubs, one from La Liga and one from Serie A are interested in signing Nigeria international, Emmanuel Dennis, from Nottingham Forest, reports from Sky Sports UK say.
The 27-year-old striker has yet to feature in any Premier League matches this season since returning to the City Ground following his loan spell at Watford and has not been called up for the FA Cup and Carabao Cup fixtures, an indication that he is not part of the club’s plans.
He is behind the likes of Chris Wood, Taiwo Awoniyi, Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi in Nuno Espírito Santo’s pecking order of forwards.
Emmanuel Dennis joined the two-time European champions in August 2022 for a fee in the region of €15 million but struggled in his first season, scoring just twice in 25 outings across all competitions.
Dennis then joined İstanbul Başakşehir on loan during the 2023–2024 season, which ended prematurely in January, after which he rejoined Watford for the second half of the campaign.
With the former Club Brugge, Zorya Lugansk and Cologne man entering the last one year of his contract with Forest at the end of the season, the club is open to considering both loan and permanent transfer offers for Dennis.
