Super Eagles young star, Tolu Arokodare, has expressed his eagerness to play alongside big stars like Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina.
The former Amiens SC player is currently firing on all cylinders in the Jupiler Pro League, recently scoring a brace against Royal Antwerp, which brings his tally to 13 goals in 20 domestic league matches and his total tally to 14 goals in 23 matches.
In the top 10 leagues worldwide, Arokodare currently leads the chart as the Nigerian with the most goals, netting 13 times for KRC Genk. He is followed by Osimhen with 10 goals, Lookman with nine, Victor Boniface with six, and Alex Iwobi with five goals.
Notwithstanding, it seems Tolu Arokodare cannot wait to showcase his talent and skill in Nigeria’s national team where he will have the chance to play alongside the 2023 and 2024 CAF Player of the Year winners, Osimhen and Lookman.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are set to face Rwanda and Zimbabwe in their quest to secure 2026 World Cup qualification at all costs, and the Nigerian Football Federation has mandated the new head coach, Eric Chelle, to qualify Nigeria.
