The Nigerian Law School will open applications for admission into the Bar Part II Course for the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The Council of Legal Education, Nigerian Law School announced this in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration, Aderonke O. Osho.

The statement said the application window will close on Friday, October 31, 2025, while lectures for the new session will commence simultaneously at the Law School Headquarters in Bwari, Abuja, and at its campuses in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Yenagoa, Yola, and Port Harcourt on Monday, February 2, 2026.

It said the Bar Part II programme is strictly for Nigerian law graduates from approved universities and foreign-trained graduates who completed and passed the Bar Part I Course at the Nigerian Law School.

“Intending applicants should go to the Nigerian Law School website www.nigerianlawschooledung for instructions on the procedure for application,” it said.

The Nigerian Law School stated that only candidates whose details have been forwarded by their university registrars would be eligible to apply, advising prospective applicants to first confirm their eligibility before paying the non-refundable application fee.

It further directed that completed application forms, together with references, must be downloaded, filled and returned to the Nigerian Law School via the applicant’s Dean of Law by Friday, October 31, 2025.

The statement urged approved re-admission and cleared referred admission cases to check the portal under the “re-admission” section, attach their approval or clearance letters to the application form, and forward documents to the Secretary to the Council and Director of Administration at the School’s Headquarters by the same closing date.

It emphasised that late submissions would not be entertained and urged applicants to keep their application numbers, which would be required to check admission status.
