
The countdown to history officially began on Friday, 4th of July 2025 as 13 finalists of the Most Beautiful Campus Queen (MBCQ) pageant took center stage in Benin City, delivering breathtaking performances that set the perfect tone for Divine Johnson’s Guinness World Record attempt.
The preliminary rounds, marking Day 1 of the historic weekend, showcased an extraordinary array of talents that demonstrated why this record-breaking event has captured national attention.
Contestants representing various schools delivered performances ranging from belly dancing to contemporary Afrobeat choreography, drama, spoken word poetry, and outstanding musical renditions. The diversity of talent on display reflected the comprehensive nature of Johnson’s directorial approach, with each performance carefully coordinated to meet the exact standards required for the world record attempt while celebrating Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.
