What Makes a Man Mad?, a new book by Nigerian-born artist and storyteller, Colored Boi, is set for release on Father’s Day, June 15, 2025.

According to the statement, in What Makes a Man Mad?, the author shares a deeply personal reflection on masculinity, memory, and emotional survival.
“Through ten raw, intimate chapters, he confronts inherited trauma, the quiet violence of praise, the weight of being watched, and the healing found in coming home to yourself,” the statement said.
“This book is for the man who’s tired of pretending. It’s for the woman who wants to understand him. And it’s for everyone who’s ever carried emotion like a secret,” it said.
