An unofficial music video of Wizkid’s “Troubled Mind” shot in Benin City by three talented creatives has received an overwhelming endorsement from fans of the renowned singer.
Wizkid FC, considered the largest music fanbase in Africa, demonstrated its approval of the video through views, likes, reposts and comments when the video was posted on X.
“Troubled Mind” is a song off Wizkid’s new iconic album “Morayo”, tributes to his mother.
The video, starring Amos Linus, was directed by Apolloisagod (@Apollo_universe) and shot by Colored Boi (@boicolored), who was also the art director.
The video was inspired by the endless worries of man and the constant need to be happy and love himself, no matter the misery, Colored Boi told Nigeria News Source.
Posted 8:23pm on December 9, the video has gathered 46.2K views, 96 comments, 514 reposts and 973 likes as at 11:59pm on Thursday, December 12.
All the comments on the post said the video was lit, while some pleaded with Wizkid to adopt the video as his own or consider using the video’s concept when shooting the official video of the song.
