Experts in the technology ecosystem will on Thursday, November 21, 2024, gather at the Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos for the fourth edition of the Zenith Bank Annual Tech Fair.
Tagged “Future Forward 4.0: Embedded Finance, Cybersecurity & Growth Imperatives – The Impact of AI”, the tech fair will showcase leading technological innovations that cut across Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Compliance, Financial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Communication Technologies, among others. The event will also feature a Start-up Pitch Competition – Zecathon – to identify innovative startups, panel discussions, masterclasses and exhibitions.
Founder and Chairman of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, will give the opening remarks at the event, according to a statement made available by the leading multinational financial service provider, while the Group Managing Director, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji, will give a welcome address.
There will also be goodwill messages to be delivered by Vice President Kashim Shettima and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while renowned Strategy & Digital Implementation Specialist, Robin Speculand, will give the keynote address on “Banking Transformation in a Digital World”.
Additionally, there will be presentations by other prominent IT practitioners who represent top global brands, including global expert in digital transformation & AI, Danillo McGarry; Partner, Africa, AI & Data, Deloitte, Jania Okwechime, and Director, Microsoft Worldwide Financial Services, Rupert Nicolay.
Client Technology Lead for Microsoft Inc., Wole Odeyele, will host the panel discussion featuring Founder & Director, Nistad Limited, Ada Jabaru; Founder & Chief Executive Officer, MainOne, Funke Opeke; Chief Executive Officer, Orda, Guy Futi; Founder, ZamzamPay, Dr Auwal Adam Sa’ad; Director General, National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and Director General/Chief Executive Officer, National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Engr. Bisoye Coker-Odusote, as discussants.
The event will additionally feature a masterclass which will be divided into seven different classes and facilitated by key industry players that cut across renowned tech giants such as Microsoft, Oracle, CyberSoc, IBM, Google, Huawei, and Amazon Web Services.
